1. About these terms

These terms apply to afghanistanfm.com and its Forum, run by the Afghanistan Freedom Movement (“the movement”, “we”). By creating an account, signing in or posting, you agree to them and to our Privacy and cookie policy.

2. Who can use the Forum

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what is done with your account. One person, one account.

3. Forum rules

Cite your sources for claims of fact, and state the other side fairly before you rebut it.

Argue ideas, not people. No personal attacks, harassment or slurs.

No hatred against people for their ethnicity, religion, sect, gender or language.

No threats, incitement or praise of violence.

Never post names, locations, contact details, workplaces, family details or photos that could identify or endanger someone, including yourself.

No spam, advertising, scams or illegal content.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give the movement permission to store, display and distribute it on the Forum and in material the movement publishes about Forum discussions.

Post only content you have the right to post. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to share.

Posts by members are their own views and not official positions of the movement. The movement’s official positions are its numbered statements and its Declaration of Principles.

5. Moderation

Every new post is checked automatically before it appears, and may be held for a moderator to review. Moderators may hold or remove posts that break these terms, and may suspend accounts that break them repeatedly or seriously.

Every moderation action is recorded in a public log, which does not show the post or who wrote it. You can appeal a decision in the Moderation Appeals forum or by writing to [email protected].

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

7. The service

We provide the website and Forum as they are, without any guarantee that they will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the movement is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from content posted by members.

The site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. The new version will be published here with a new date, and applies from then on.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Afghanistan.

10. Contact
