The Afghanistan Freedom Movement has opened the Forum, a place for sourced, civil debate on Afghanistan and its diaspora, at afghanistanfm.com/discussions.
The Forum is open to every Afghan and to those who work with them. Members take part under a display name of their choosing. No one is asked to use their real name.
The Forum has public rules. Claims of fact are expected to carry a source. Arguments are to be made against ideas, not against people. Nothing may be posted that could identify or endanger anyone.
Every new post is checked before it appears. Posts that may break the rules are held for review by a moderator, and only a person can remove a post. Every moderation action is recorded in a public log.
The movement invites Afghans at home and abroad to take part.
